Building High-Speed Networks for Large-Scale Events: UBB Powers Easter Camp’s Connectivity

Robust, seamless, and high-speed connectivity with 100% uptime is crucial to the success of large-scale events. When Easter Camp, a renowned event that draws over 3000+ attendees, required a reliable network, UBB stepped up to the challenge. Tasked with providing a network for the media team, staff, administration, and a guest Wi-Fi network in an area where connectivity isn’t easily achieved.
Designing it, building it, and connecting it, the team at UBB utilised a single fibre broadband access point, then strategically distributed it wirelessly throughout the entire park. This created a multiple wireless point to point links distrubitng the data through key locations that is capable of handling large amounts of traffic while ensuring a smooth and fast experience for everyone on-site. In the end, all the staff really needed to do was either plug an Ethernet cable into the computer or sign in to the Wi-Fi to get going.
Whether it was uploading content in real-time for the media team, live streaming from various event locations, allowing the safety team to run a safe and fun event, or simply providing the administration team the ability to process tickets with reliable connectivity, UBB ensured seamless operations.
